How this works

Three steps to completion.

Your completion is recorded when you submit the knowledge check. Keep the policy briefing open as a reference while you work.

  1. Step 01

    Review the briefing

Move through the policy sections at your own pace. Stop and re-read as needed.

  2. Step 02

    Reflect on your own work

Map the three-tier risk model onto the AI usage you actually do. Note the cases where you would need to escalate or get approval.

  3. Step 03

    Complete the quiz

Five short questions in Microsoft Forms. Your submission is the record of completion.

The briefing · 19 slides

Read it once, fully.

Use ← / → to navigate, R to restart, or the controls below the deck. Each slide is a discrete part of the policy — re-read as needed before taking the knowledge check.

Slide 1 of 19: What you will know by the end.

01Objectives

What you will know by the end.

  • Know what the policy covers — scope. Who is in, and what counts as AI use.
  • Use the three-tier risk model correctly. Classify any AI use you encounter.
  • Protect client and RCG confidential information. Never input it without authorization.
  • Use only approved tools and accounts. For any RCG business work.
  • Know how to escalate questions or concerns. Pause and ask when unsure.

Questions & Escalation

When you are not sure, pause and ask.

"When in doubt, do not use AI" is the policy's most useful sentence. These are the people to bring the question to.

  • First line

    Your supervisor

Your direct manager is the right first stop for most questions — they know the engagement, the client, and what has already been approved.

    Talk to your manager directly.
  • Governance

    AI Governance Committee

For tool approvals, policy interpretation, and high-risk use questions. They maintain the approved tool list and the Appendix A process.

  • Security

    IT Security & ITMS

For installation requests, suspected incidents, or anything involving credentials, devices, or client repositories. Pause first, then escalate.
